Mommy Brain Rears Its Ugly Head...

Cookie had her first trip to the park today...well first trip where she didn't sit in the stroller the whole time while Mommy walked.

We've joined a couple of meet up groups, one of which is Clairemont Moms Playgroup.  They meet every other Monday (we'll have to quit when I go back to work) at a park in Clairemont.  One of the moms and I were going to meet for a play date outside of the group.  Her little girl is one day older than Cookie.

Cookie was napping as our appointed time got near so I texted her to let her know I'd text her to let her know when we left the house.  Texted her when we left the house.  Texted her when we got to the park.

Cookie and I laid out on the grass and Cookie absolutely loved the trees.  In fact, she started crying when I gathered her up to get going because I knew she'd get hungry soon. 

Now comes the Mommy Brain part...the other mom finally texted me back: I thought we were meeting on Thursday?  I'm sorry, but I have plans on Wednesdays.

Umm...it's Wednesday?  I thought it was Thursday.  I was told Pregnancy Brain was replaced with Mommy Brain, but I didn't believe it.  Ah well...at least Cookie loved the park since we're going back tomorrow for our play date.
