Halloween and other antics...

Sweet Cheeks' first Halloween! Holidays are so much more fun now than they ever were. Sweet Cheeks had 2 costumes - one for daycare (ladybug) and one family costume (hotdog, ketchup, mustard). Pictures were posted here. We pushed Sweet Cheeks' limits over the last couple of weekends as far as staying out late. Record? Halloween night at The Bees' house. She stayed up until 8:30PM (of course the rookie parents left the camera at home). She woke up once in the middle of the night (darn that sleep begets sleep), but other than that she handled it all well. We won't be making it a trend, but it's nice to know we can stretch it on special occasions.

Sweet Cheeks has not yet started crawling, but she scooches backward and can scooch forward on her bum. So...I was running around the house doing some small things when everything got really, really quiet all of a sudden. I peeked into the family room and this is what I found. Sweet Cheeks had scooched from the middle of the family room to the shelves and pulled out the canvas bins to root around in, pushed it back in, and pulled it back out again. Mischief had ensued and while this is totally acceptable for her to do, she almost looked guilty when I caught her.
